Would you not wash for a year?
Shine My Ride were called in to perform a Premium Valet on a 53-plate Vauxhall Astra SXi hatchback in Bridgwater, Somerset. For various reasons, it had not been cleaned in any way for a year, so it was a task and a half! After thoroughly cleaning the interior, shampooing the carpets and seats etc, it was time to crack on with the exterior. Having been dirty for a year, the exterior was extremely dirty, and a lot of the dirt was very well bonded to the car. So after a thorough wash and dry, including cleaning the wheel arches and wheels, it was time to bring some life back to the vehicle. So the Astra was polished to prepare the surface, and then a durable wax was applied, which not only helped the shine, but also added a layer of protection. The trim and tyre were also dressed, including the side skirts, to finish the vehicle off nicely.
