Engineered Security installs and services Access Control systems. This means electronically controlling access to an area. This can be as simple as an intercom being used to request access to a receptionist for example who then presses a button to allow access through a door. Some larger domestic properties also have these on electric gates etc This can also mean a system where a user needs to swipe or present a card/token to a proximity reader that then automatically either allows or refuses entry based on the permissions you set out. These systems can be large, across a whole building controlling access to various areas for hundreds of users controlled by a server program. We use Paxton products, which are widely regarded as the best in the industry and we agree with this.
