Originally hailing from Camden, London but am presently residing in East Anglia. After attending college I embarked on a career within the 'Animal Welfare' sector (RSPCA, DEFRA, Battersea Dogs Home, Mayhew Animal Home...), before returning to my passion for writing. In 2005 I secured a three-book deal with Pegasus Publishers, who are based in Cambridge. Debut novel 'Redemption' was released 23/01/06 with the second 'Dominion' following 08/10/07. The third and final contracted novel 'Kismet' hit the bookshelves 01/06/2010. Literary nominations thus far include Channel 4 television's Richard & Judy's Book-Club Competition, The Guardian First Book Award & The McKitterick Prize. I am a freelance copy editor and proofreader with over a decade of experience in commercial publishing, including magazine, online and business publishing. I have experience as a proofreader, copy editor, editorial assistant, freelance report editor. I also have excellent writing skills (creative and/or descriptive) and I speak fluent French and Spanish. I am flexible, reliable, and used to working to deadlines. Currently freelancing but having recently been made redundant I am seeking a return to permanent full-time employment within the proofreading, sub-editing, copy-writing, media, web-content arena(s), either locally or within the London / Middlesex locale(s).
