PRODUCED BY EXPERTS The products and services we offer will be of the highest standard, as they will all be produced and supplied by Assistant Principal Examiners who are outstanding teachers of the subject and have many years' knowledge and experience of teaching and examining in the subject. The examiners still hold senior examiner positions for a main awarding body to this day and are experts at writing courses and textbooks, training students and teachers, and providing CPD in-school services. PRODUCTS FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS There will be a wide range of topic-based products on offer for students and teachers that will help them to become more knowledgeable about the subject they are studying and ensure their grades and overall results improve. For teachers, we will produce assessment question papers/question banks for all A level papers ready for use straight 'off-the-shelf'. These assessment packages are on the compulsory and key topics of education, crime and deviance, research methods, sociological theory and all the paper two topics from Section A and Section B. Use them as mock papers before this summer's exams. For the new GCSE Sociology specification we will have products that will help support teachers through the initial stages of delivery and in preparing their students for the first exam. We will offer full written papers with mark schemes to cover all the topics from Paper 1 and Paper 2, spec check cards that will include all 25 key studies, under the counter top tips, classroom activities and specification outlines. HELPFUL SERVICES FOR TEACHERS The services available from Sociology Support will include online and face-to-face consultancy work with teachers, heads of department and managers to look at planning, delivery, and assessment procedures to help Sociology become an outstanding subject in your school and college. We will look to network within areas, facilitating advice and developing good practice sessions for small groups of teachers at key points within the year. We will also offer webinars and podcasts for teachers on specific aspects of the subject and deliver an assessment setting and marking service for both formative and summative assessments. These will be offered to meet with the assessment cycle of the awarding body and your school or college.
