The Sussex Guild is a group of professional designers-makers of fine contemporary and traditional craftwork. Members ave been selected for their high degree of skill and creativity.The Sussex Guild aims to inspire and encourage public appreciation of fine craftsmanship by organising shows and exhibitions in a wide variety of venues. The Sussex Guild also has a permanent Guild Shop and Gallery in the lovely county town of Lewes. The stunning original crafts on display and for sale includes: Jewellery, Furniture, Printmaking, Ceramics, Metalwork, Glass, Textiles and Wood.Visitors to the Guild Shop and Shows enjoy learning about the crafts they see on display for they can discuss with the makers themselves the design process, the techniques, tools and craft materials used. Craft pieces can be bought at the Guild Shop and Shows or specially commissioned.
