     Aj's first attempt at hosting karaoke was in the late eighties, Using a single VCR player and a stack of video cassettes we spent most of the night trying to locate the tracks, (Nightmare).The introduction of the CD+G Player in the early nineties certainly made our life easier. Karaoke has been in and out of fashion over the years but the dawn of TV shows such as Pop idol and the X Factor have added to the popularity.Karaoke software developments in 2003 has made the Karaoke dj's life even easier, we can now rip our entire collection to a Laptop and manipulate the tracks with our Dennon media controller and Virtual DJ/Kj software, We have fast access to over 20,000 Karaoke tracks.We use a Quality mixing desk which is capable of mixing four microphones, with echo and reverb we can get the best out of the worst vocal performance. Mackie speakers add clarity to the whole performance, You can have a fantastic voice but its only as good as the equipment used to reproduce it, we don't cut corners on this.
