Bewnans Kernow was established in 2008 at the request of Cornwall Council to enable the indigenous Cornish Cultural Sector to engage with the Cornwall Cultural Partnership We call for investment from Europe, Westminster and Cornwall to professionalise and modernise the 60 organisations that are members of Bewnans Kernow so that Cornish citizens, and those who choose to work in or visit Cornwall, can learn more of the rich history and culture that define how the Cornish people relate to their very special environment We want to engage with decision makers to ensure that our unique heritage and place in the World is understood and valued
