Marah is a Christian charitable organisation committed to supporting vulnerable and marginalised adults in the Stroud District, helping them to move on from their addictions and circumstances Marah's ambition is to build on our service and our ability to have a positive effect on the lives of all who come to us This work has grown from an initial client group of around twelve to one of well over a hundred; Marah now has a team of more than forty volunteers with involvement and support coming from most of Stroud's Churches We work with people on the margins of society; those who are excluded from the everyday, positive experiences of life due to their circumstances, life history and others' perception of them
