Intumescent Double Flipper
Norseal Advantage Double Flipper Intumescent Strip is a moisture resistant Fire & Smoke Seal that comes complete with self adhesive tape. Intumescent fire and smoke seals for fire doors contain intumescent fireseal material contained within a PVC sleeve which is fitted into a rebate to either the leaves or the frame in the doorset and will, in the event of a fire expand or swell (intumesce) to many times its original volume and effectively seal the gap around the door to provide a safe and effective barrier against the passage of fire, smoke and hot gases. In addition the elastomeric blade material will help towards the doorsets acoustic rating. This product is tested to BS476 Part 22:1 and BS476 Part 31:1 (smoke).
