Eva Grant is a small company based in the highlands of Scotland which works in partnership with local development groups in Lao, Thailand and India. These groups are chosen because of their ethical principles as well as their abilities to produce beautiful textiles. The aim of these groups is to provide individuals with choices and to empower them to be self-sufficient. In some cases the textile production is central to this aim, in others it is a small part of a more complex picture. Eva Grant also works with individual crafts-people who are maintaining traditional skills. Harris Tweed is an example of a tradition at a crossroads, with recent developments hopefully saving the traditional craft from terminal decline.Eva Grant has been on-line since February 2009 and aims to provide elegant clothing which is on the whole, seasonless and ageless. The range is updated with new seasons and the arrival of new fabrics. Eva Grant is currently working in colla
