The company, which is located near Oswestry in Shropshire, began trading in 2008 and has over 22 years experience in the automotive and braking industry. Until founding Engineering Inspiration in 2008 Peter Sturgess was responsible for braking systems at JCB Excavators, manufacturers of construction machinery, agricultural tractors and military vehicles. He started his career at Lucas Girling working on pneumatic (air) brakes, hydraulic brakes, ABS and brake by wire systems before joining Honda R&D, working up to Chassis Group Leader. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
