South Wind holiday accommodation is 4 bed-roomed and detached, set up the hill directly opposite St Michael's Mount. We call it an 'upside-down' house since the kitchen, dining-room and living rooms are at the top of the house with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the two floors below. This means that you will get maximum enjoyment of all the best views from top of the house - an uninterrupted view of our garden and fields from the back and the most magnificent view of Mount's Bay from the front. Those of you who know Cornwall will know that we have 'weather' - sometimes all four seasons in one day! From South Wind, however, you can enjoy everything and anything! We have two huge picture windows overlooking St Michael's Mount and a large balcony on which to relax and enjoy the incredible Cornish sun which surprises us throughout the year. But we also have a cosy log-burning fire for the winter nights. Moreover you can always pull up a chair and watch the activity across the bay to Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole and beyond. The accommodation sleeps 8 comfortably with two double bedrooms and 2 twins. One of the twin rooms is on the ground floor with an ensuite shower-room and there is even a separate entrance if the occupants want to be completely self-contained! The other 3 bedrooms are on the middle floor and share 2 bathrooms, one with shower and one with a bath.
