Our first rhythm to 40 was a good one and at the minute we settled into a solid 36, Cats still on station with us and Churchill about a length away ahead With St Catharines M1 chasing us, a boat with a very healthy contingent of University rowers and one of the quickest boats on the river, and a Churchill crew we believed to be catchable ahead M1 was eager to get going
