Umpie Bag, is the creation of three cousins Ruth, Alison and Joanna, we are all connected by the unusual family surname of Umpleby, so the natural name for the Company became Umpie Bags.All Umpie Bags are hand made at our homes in North Yorkshire, England and because they are hand crafted each bag is totally unique, no two bags are ever exactly the same.Our Umpie Vintage range is created from rare fabrics dating from the 1940's to 1970's, these textiles have been passed down to us through our family and are held in our fabric archive, all Vintage Umpie Bags are therefore "Very Limited Edition Designs".It is important to us that Umpie Bags give value for money, we will always strive to keep them reasonably priced.
