The Islamic Awareness and Education Project is an LEA-approved supplementary education service. Our aim is to assist schools in achieving their educational goals within religious education and citizenship programs, principally where schools choose to include topics from Islam in their teaching plans. IAEP provides resources on Islam and school visitors to assist with class-based teaching, seminars, conferences and related programs. All services are delivered strictly by invitation from the schools and rigorously adherent to the school syllabi requirements and school codes of practice. The IAEP is intended as an intercommunity initiative, promoting improved community relations through increased awareness and education.
