Portable Appliance Testing/PAT Testing
Portable appliance testing is a service which is vital to safety in the workplace.  The law requires that employers ensure all electrical equipment in the workplace is in safe working order.  Additionally this applies to anyone providing electrical equipment for use by the public e.g. landlords, hoteliers, public houses, etc.  The only recognised means of ensuring the safety of appliances is by having them properly inspected and tested by a qualified person.
