Gainspeed Limited is a Product certification & training company in Cardiff trading since 1997 specialising in Product certification, EMC, safety & training. Through a partnership with an Intertek compliant state of the art EMC laboratory in Cardiff, Gainspeed Ltd can now offer Pre-compliance, Investigation and Compliance testing to a wide range of EMC standards. Gainspeed Ltd was born in 1997 when it was evident that so many Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) had difficulty in understanding how to meet the newly published CE Marking Directives in Europe. The Low Voltage (LVD) and Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directives were applicable at that time and getting reliable and affordable advice was a challenge for most SMEs. DSC07409The founder Jimmy Tzimenakis Ch Eng, M.I.E.T. and one of the founder members of Club Européen (formerly Wales EMC Club) together with a Cardiff based Trading standards officer David Holland, wrote a technical publication "Electrical Product Safety - A step-by-step guide to Self-Assessment" and that is how we started! The publication was very successful and led to many requests, mostly from SMEs, for assistance in training, safety assessment and EMC testing. Following the success of the safety guide, a few years later, a second publication was written on EMC ("Understanding the EMC Directive") visit Gainspeed.co.uk for more info or call us on 07944355864
