 For over ten years, Emily's award winning artwork has portrayed her deep equestrian passion in its exceptional accuracy and detail. Mostly commission based, she prides herself in the number of satisfied customers who notice that their equine friend's portrait contains their individual 'spark' and character - something that is often hard to capture in two dimensional artwork Owning horses herself, she is able to see them in their natural beauty from the luxury of her home studio, enabling her to portray horses in their finest, and capture the strength and soul she has admired in them, her entire life. Self taught, she has worked through many mediums and subjects, but has found herself returning to graphite drawn horses, where her true passion lays, knowing that black and white portraits convey the strong contrasts of the horses she draws.
