The Guildford Action Drop-in centre supports people who are homeless, on a low income, in need or vulnerable/marginalised. By providing practical support such as hot meals, showers, laundry facilities, clothing, access to primary health care - (GP & district nurses visit regularly during the week). Alongside the practical support at the centre visitors can access advocacy, advice and support. We also signpost on to specialist agencies who we work closely with. As well as one to one support plans, the centre also offers group activities to increase life skills such as communication to re-engage people back into the community. The Charity also run a family support service (The GAF- Guildford Action for Families) and a Furniture Project.
