Comfort Digisystem
The Digisystem is manufactured by Comfort Audio and is the first assistive listening device that has ever used digital sound transfer between receiver and transmitter. The sound that occurs as a result of this digitalised process is crystal clear, without delay or echo, and free from interference, as is often the case with traditional FM systems. The Digisystem works in the same way as a traditional FM radio system in that the person who has the hearing loss wears a receiver and someone speaks into a transmitter which has a microphone within it. Sound is then heard via the receiver without any delay or echo. The receiver can be used with a neck loop, headphones or earphones,
