Fitting service for all our wood floors
We offer a fitting service for all our wood flooring locally and throughout the UK. Our Wood Floor fitters include the trimming of all doors & architraves. The skirting boards if not being replaced are wall sawn. This is where existing skirting boards are left intact, our fitters with a wall saw cut a slice off the bottom of your skirting board so that the new wood floor can be fitted underneath the skirting board, this way the floor looks as though it has always been there without having to remove it thus hiding the expansion gap behind the skirting board. The alternative for some fitters (not our own) is to install a L shaped strip this is where the floor is stopped 3mm short of the skirting and the expansion gap is covered by the flat strip or beading.
