We tend to stock new carp into the main lake every four years and these new fish will all be home grown in our recently constructed stock pond We would say that the lake is relatively easy to fish with few snags but catching the fish is a different matter The catfish which were stocked several years ago at an average weight of one and half pounds have grown rapidly and this year we have seen a sixty pounder grace the bank The main lake and indeed the oldest lake at our fishery is roughly 1.85 hectares in size
