The Countryman Inn is a traditional rural hostelry with warming log fires in the winter, fantastic open country views, a cosy bar and a charming restaurant. The menu reflects the changing seasons and offers good hearty home cooked dishes of traditional rural food all year. Whenever possible local produce is used. Game from Knepp Estate, Free-range meats from local farms and fresh fish from day boats at Shoreham are all presented with home grown garden vegetables and salads. Sunday Lunches are always popular with a selection of traditional Roasts as well as the A la Carte Menu With over 30 wines from around the world, cask conditioned real ales, and freshly ground coffee always available, the Countryman Inn is warm and welcoming. Booking is advisable at weekends, food served every day with regular Garden BBQ's in the summer.
