Lumen Financial Planning Ltd are a fee based financial advice company which works with individuals and owners of small and medium sized businesses to help them fulfil the personal and financial goals that they have in life.A large part of our initial meetings is ascertaining what a client's current situation is and the goals that they want to fulfil. This may be realising financial independence at a certain stage in the future, having sufficent capital or income to meet education costs or ensuring that wealth is passed on tax efficiently to the next generation. Or it may be a 'dream' or desire that you have always wanted to fulfil.Once your goals have been ascertained Lumen designs a financial plan to meet these goals. This plan will take into account your current situation, your tax status ensuring recommendations are as tax efficient as possible, and provide cost effective methods to meet your goals. We will work with you accountant and solicitor to ensure any recommendations are in harmony with your current situation.Lumen Financial Planning will be honest about the likelihood of you meeting your goals and what changes, if any, you need to make to your goals, existing plans or your budget.Lumen Financial Planning offers a high level of service and part of this is our regular review process in which we review your circumstances, legislation that may affect your financial plan and your goal fulfillment, and the investments we are utilising to help you meet your goal. This review will be at least once per year (agreed at outset) and any required adjustments are made at this time.Lumen Financial Planning offers unbiased financial advice and to ensure that this remains a core part of our proposition to you we charge fees for the advice we give and the work that we undertake.
