This lamp runs at 4 Watts and has 9 high lumen Epistar prong mounted LEDs on a centre piece with a frosted glass cover over them to give an authentic light effect. The light output of these lamps is 300 lumens which is equivalent to the light output of a 40 Watt Incandescent light bulb so retrofitting these lamps will not reduce the amount light in a room. The aluminium base is designed to be aesthetically pleasing whilst also being efficient, reducing the amount of heat given off by the lamps in comparison to the incandescents of old; leading to the 50,000 hours maintenance free expected life. These B15 LED Candle bulbs also benefit from instant on technology which leads to instant light as soon as they are switched on unlike the CFL lamps that take time to warm up.Product Page : http://www.convertabulb.co.uk/product/b15-led-candle-bulbs-small-bayonet/
