Belper Meadows Tennis Club (BMTC) is a friendly and informal tennis club with around 100 members (about 60 adults and 40 children) of mixed playing ability. It is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association () and is accredited for mini tennis.It currently has 3 flood-lit macadam (all weather) hard courts, and 2 grass courts (that are mainly used in the summer).BMTC has 2 social practice nights each week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting around 7pm. Priority is given to adults after 6:30pm on these evenings. A variety of coaching is available through the club at a small additional cost. BMTC has six teams in the Derby summer league, comprised of two men's, two ladies' and two mixed doubles. Together these teams will compete in almost 40 matches, both home and away, between May and July. There are often opportunities for new members to be involved in playing for the club if they wish.New members of all ages and abilities are always welcome.
