Whenever you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you are away, or whether you want help in dog training , we are here for you - as we have been for the past thirty years. At Barnlake we care about you and your pets, and we are always pleased to talk to you or show you around. We have a shop in which we only sell items which we recommend and would use ourselves. We provide training for companion dogs and owners from Puppy Playschool through to advanced training and agility. We have an indoor training room and plenty of space outdoors when the weather permits. We put emphasis on understanding why our dogs do things, how they learn and how to communicate with them. We use reward-training, psychology, understanding what is going on with both the dog and the handler, and concentrating on being consistent and building the training from small beginnings to a higher level. We offer problem behaviour counselling.
