Solano's Peruvian Cuisine Solano's is a Peruvian restaurant located in Newcastle. We serve traditional Peruvian dishes in a modern presentation. We use authentic Peruvian ingredients in our cooking to achieve a traditional, yet exciting flavour that is unique to Peru. Our menu brings the North East the very best of what Peru has to offer. Peruvian cuisine has become a big hit in Britain in recent years thanks to its diverse and powerful flavour combinations. Taking inspiration from indigenous cooking, mixed in with ingredients and cooking techniques brought over by immigrants over the centuries, Peru has over 500 traditional dishes. At Solano's, we serve traditional dishes including Lomo Saltado, Papa a la Huancaina, Causa Limena and Ceviche de Pescado. We want the people of the North East to be able to experience Peruvian cuisine in a relaxed, Latin American inspired setting.
