Pet Food Bank
One of 7th Heaven's main aims is to encourage people to keep their pets, rather than hand them in to a pound or sanctuary. We strongly believe that it is in the animal's best interest for them to remain in the home that is familiar to them as long as possible, rather than being subjected to the stress of a kennel environment. With this in mind, 7th Heaven have established a Pet Food Bank. Under our Pet Food Bank initiative, we will endeavour to provide a supply of pet food, for a limited period, to people in financial hardship in Northern Ireland. To help target those in need we will be working in conjunction with Storehouse Belfast, amongst others. Initially, if you have been referred to a food bank, ask them to pass your details on to us. We will then contact you to assess your needs. So if there are times when you can barely feed your animal, we may be able to supply you with free pet food for a limited time.
