Encapsulated stained glass sealed unit
T Smith Glass design and manufacture bespoke, traditionally made encapsulated (triple glazed) sealed units. Superior in both texture and colour to modern day stick on plastic film reproductions, the picture shows a Victorian fanlight window (measuring 400mm (w) x 250mm (h) encapsulated into a 28mm sealed unit, ready to glaze into a new UPVC window frame. The window is made with hand blown 60mm roundels, hand rolled pastel cathedral glass and leaded and soldered using the same techniques that have been around for centuries. Add a little traditional character to your house with an authentic window that will not fade. It is also possible to retain your existing stained glass and have it adjusted so it can be glazed back into your new frames. Contact us for further information.
