The Maynard is a selective independent day school in Exeter, for girls aged 7 - 18. We are the third oldest girls' school in the country, founded in 1658 by Sir John Maynard. Girls and boys learn differently and we are experts in educating girls; our long history is testament to our ability to bring out the best in each and every one of them
