Cabledata Install Cisco External Wireless solution in the shadow of the city and O2 arena
Cabledata Completed a Wireless installation in the shadow of Canary Wharf and the O2 arena to allow the cancellation of a private circuit for a concrete plant in Greenwich in November. The site operated by a global leading building materials supplier historically has had 2 private circuits as it was deemed commercially and technically not possible to connect the locations. The solution involved the installation of three Cisco 1310 external wireless radio installation, (PTMP), from the weighbridge to the very top of the concrete batch and down to the Plant control room and offices. The installation resulted in a saving of £4k per annum - the S.East production manager said "The solution Cabledata have provided is excellent, the installation is first class and the payback means even in these tough economic times it was a real no brainer"
