Alan Gibbard has been trading in antiquarian and second hand books in Eastbourne for almost 20 years. Originally as proprietor of a long established bookshop in South Street and later from a smaller premises nearby. After many years of trading from a retail premises Alan Gibbard acquired the well known Natural History bookselling business of Wildside Books in 2008. Although now concentrating on Natural History Alan Gibbard still maintains a substantial stock of quality books on other subjects and remains keen to purchase books on all topics particularly antiquarian books. We exhibit at a number of book fairs throughout the country and are long established members of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association. We are prepared to travel considerable distance to purchase interesting books or to undertake probate valuations.
