I adhere to regular supervision and continual professional development. I work with young people, adults, couples and families who are suffering emotional turmoil in their lives. I specialise in Emotional Therapeutic Counselling, a client led talking therapy which focuses on emotions rather than the mind. I use a range of gentle techniques to help you uncover, explore and express painful emotions to bring about positive change. This effective therapeutic approach supports you to face and understand difficulties in your life, make appropriate changes and move forward feeling stronger, happier and more content. I am trained to work with Abuse, Addictions, Anger, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Eating Disorders, Low Self Esteem, Panic Disorder, Phobias, Personal and Work Related Stress, Relationship Issues, Self-Harm and much more. I provide understanding, warmth and empathy. I am accepting of all experiences and listen without judgment. The confidential counselling sessions take place in a safe environment and go at your own pace. There are no rules regarding number or frequency of sessions.
