Testimonials
Carpenter / Joiner
Krystof and Marius were excellent. The quality of their work well exceeded our expectations. Would 100% recommend!
Painter and decorator
Professional, efficient and tidy, everything you want in a tradesperson. Their quote wasn't the cheapest one I got, but Krystof seemed the most professional of the decorators that I spoke with, so I went with MatMar. It was the right decision- everything looks great!
Builder
Great value for money - an extremely reasonable price for very good work - and very flexible to adapt the job to our needs and to the particular problems in the house. We would thoroughly recommend them. Thanks, Chris!
Tiler
Very happy with the tiling and painting jobs by Christopher and the team. Very polite and courteous tradesmen who started on time and early each morning. All waste products were removed. Would definitely recommend it.
Builder
An awesome job was done on the re-installation of a floating floor. They were friendly, helpful, prompt, and flexible with rescheduling.

MatMar carried out the full renovation work on a property development for me on a very run down auction property in Clapham. Can't recommend highly enough. The quoted well below any of the larger firms I spoke to. The quote arrived quickly and was accurate. As the job developed the quote was added to and amended once both parties were happy. There were no unexpected costs at any stage. Work was of a good quality. I pushed them to work quickly but the work remained good. Decent young team I'd use again.
Plumber
Chris and Marius were prompt, communicative, hardworking and very accommodating. They came and got involved in a rush job that we were doing for my mother in law as her hip had suddenly become very bad and she needed her washing machine re-arranged. It was not a glamorous job but they did it with such a nice attentive can-do attitude we were delighted with them. Thank you Marius.
Kitchen Specialist
Really pleased with the work that Chris and his team have done installing and painting our kitchen. I'd be happy to use KRS again for future work.
Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
When Krystof came round to quote and told me Matmar could give me a beautiful bathroom, I thought he was stretching a point. But against the odds, in the face of my aging and awkward plumbing along with my very limited space, the team has delivered just that. They made changes that it didn't occur to me to ask for, adding architrave where there was none, and concealing pipework in ways I didn't even realise were achievable in my home. These have contributed to the clean, modern look of my new bathroom. I also appreciate the thought they put into their work, from tweaking my instructions on tiling to deliver a more attractive outcome, to little common sense things like carefully positioning a radiator so there would still be room for the (temporarily removed) door to open properly. Communication within the team was good too, as whatever I discussed with Krystof always made it through to the person who ended up actually doing the work. Throughout the project, Krystof visited most day
