Consultancy buys out safety firm
Norman Gentry Consulting has snapped up ActSafe Safety Advice and Systems, of Cockermouth, for an undisclosed amount. Norman Gentry, of Norman Gentry Consulting, said: "This acquisition will allow us to expand the health and safety side of our business under the ActSafe - Safety Advice and Systems name, and complements our existing work in food safety and as an approved centre for food and health and safety training." Mike Blow, of ActSafe, said: "I am wishing to retire and was looking for a local organisation that would ensure my clients continued to receive the same standard of service on health and safety advice and keep their systems up to date. It will also allow clients to access a wider range of training options." Norman Gentry Consulting and ActSafe Safety Advice and Systems will now be based in Carlisle, on 01228 549508.
