Located near Swindon in the heart of Wootton Bassett, the Grade II listed Angel has been extensively but sympathetically renovated to create an eclectic yet contemporary hotel with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Whatever your plans, whether it be a long stay to discover the Cotwolds and the ancient Ridgeway, a romantic weekend, a conference or a wedding reception, the Angel is the perfect location. A comfortable blend of old and new, the atmosphere at The Angel is relaxed, informal and individual. The focus of the bedrooms is comfort; from Vi-Spring beds and Egyptian cotton linen to individually designed fabrics, colour schemes and bespoke furniture. All en-suite bathrooms have baths with power showers. We've added a few gadgets too; flat screen LCD televisions, DAB clock radios and free broadband access (WiFi or wired).
