Autoclave Service and Validation
  The law says that you need to validate and service your autoclave. In HTM 01-05 it clearly states that the autoclave needs daily, weekly, quarterly and annual tests. The user (person in your practice) needs to perform daily and weekly checks, but quarterly testing and annual validation needs to be done by a qualified engineer. Our engineer is qualified to complete these tests on both non vacuum and vacuum autoclaves. Quarterly Thermometric Testing is done by post and a certificate is sent to you. Your user (nurse) places the thermometric device in the autoclave and puts it through a cycle, it is then returned to us in a prepaid envelope to be assessed by our engineer. Full service and validation is done by our engineer on site and takes him about 2 hours. This will ensure that you are compliant to current legislation
