Rising Damp
If we establish that you have a rising damp problem then you have a couple of different treatments and solutions available to you. Treatment options range from common methods such as a damp proof course by chemical injection to newer methods such as electro osmotic treatment.
Dry Rot
The key to treating dry rot is to identify and remove any source of moisture that is allowing the dry rot to flourish. When the source of the moisture has been eliminated, further treatment will usually involve removing plaster, applying fungicide and fixing any structural integrity issues affecting the timber. This final process may involve the removal and replacement of structural and decorative timbers.
Wet Rot
The most vital step in wet rot treatment is making sure the source of damp that started the problem is removed. After that the area where wet rot has grown can be dried out and chemical treatment can be applied to eradicate the fungus. Removal and replacement of timbers may be necessary.

Damp Proofing
