The Gold Ring Ceili Band is a 4 piece band. We play Scottish Ceili, Irish Ceili/Sets and Old Tyme dancing have been doing so for 27 years. As we have a harpist/vocalist we do weddings and play as a trad' group using bodhrán rather than drums. A full wedding package is on offer; ceremony, drinks reception, background music during meal and dance.The Gold Ring provides for Ceili and Old Tyme Dancing with all the Waltzs, Quick Steps, Fox Trotts, Scottishe, Barn Dance etc etc. For this we have a range of some beautiful instrumentals and our singer has a repertoire of Ballads and Country.Harpist - full repertoire of the old harp music and slow airs as well as a good range of dance music. Also original compositions.If you want a harp that can be seen and looks nice there are quite a few but maybe you would rather hear it as well Our harpist is always professionally amplified - seen and heard.
