Dr Davies has 10 years experience as a Consultant Adult & Liaison Psychiatrist. He undertakes private work in South Wales, in addition to his NHS practice.Medicolegal work: He sees claimants at the request of solicitors for Expert Witness reports relating to personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Appointments are usually available in 4-6 weeks in Cardiff or Swansea.Private Appointments: Dr Davies sees patients referred by their GPs at the Bridgend Clinic and elsewhere in South Wales. He is registered with BUPA and can also see self-funded patients.Occupational Health Psychiatry: At the request of employers, Dr Davies sees employees for occupational reports and advice on treatment to facilitate a return to work.Lectures/workshops: To health professionals, solicitors and others.Areas of interest/Expertise: Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Psychiatric Problems relating to Physical Illness and Trauma, Work Related Stress, Behavioural Sleep Medicine.
