Renovating and recovering old and antique lampshades
Do you have a favourite old lampshade that needs updating or replacing? Or an heirloom that you would like to return to its former glory?  Shades of Elegance offers a bespoke lampshade recovering service to make your shade look new again.  Recovering can either be in your own fabric or chosen from our large selection of quality fabrics.  As our lampshades are handmade in the UK we can usually recreate an original design closely matching fabric and trim and, if requested, will re-use the existing trim if in good condition.  Our recovering service can remake both soft, lined shades or "hard" shades i.e. fabric laminated to a hard backing. We can repair frames or replicate beyond repair damaged frames.
