The Anglo-Thai Foundation awards grants to impoverished schoolchildren in Northeast Thailand (the Isaan region) at primary and secondary level and to college and university students to enable them to complete their education. It provides hardship and disability grants to those in need. Respecting the traditions and culture of Thailand, it assists all who are in need without discrimination on religious grounds. Grants are also made to schools and villages to provide clean drinking water, hygienic sanitation, self-sustaining food and other projects. The ATF encourages sponsorship of individual children or students (from £10 to £35 per month), and of the community projects. In 2009/2010 we are supporting over 450 young people.
