Po' Bear is a new men's clothing brand - day to night, park to pub. We're bold and relaxed enough for the day but our tees also look great on a night out. Think bold, Americana, food inspired! How it began... The fairytale of New Orleans... ...it's a simple tale of a polar bear living in the wilderness who didn't quite fit in. He wanted more than to just roam the cold, white landscapes looking for seal blubber. He didn't particularly like the climate either. And so, he went in search of somewhere warmer and more lively with an abundance of employment opportunities and belly filling grub. He wandered southward until he found a place that tingled his tastebuds, was full of life and offered a bear like him the lifestyle he was looking for. That place was New Orleans. With his bear like strength he quickly got a job working at the local port where he made friends and swam in the Mississippi delta on weekends. Life was good except for one problem, with a ferocious appetite like his buying sandwiches everyday ate up most of his wages. These sandwiches weren't really filling him up either. Then came the lightbulb moment that would change any bears life. He realised he could build a sandwich that was a meal in itself - a sandwich so great it would fill all those that chomped on it, a sandwich that only used fresh local ingredients, a sandwich that filled the most hard working of New Orleans locals The Po' Bear sandwich was born! He opened a small sandwich stall in the docks where he sold the Po'Bears by the bucketload. The people loved them so much that the bear who came all the way from the wilderness became a local hero and ended up with his face on a tee!
