Logalog gets HETAS accreditation
Local log suppliers Logalog are very pleased to announce that they have recently gained HETAS accreditation for their range of Seasoned and Kiln-dried hardwood firewood. This prestigious mark of quality was awarded to Logalog after the production process for their hardwood logs was subjected to exhaustive site audits by HETAS agents where all aspects were scrutinised for consistency and end products were sampled for size and moisture content.Logalog are the only company in Shropshire producing HETAS approved firewood and as only six other suppliers in the UK have gained accreditation it is further proof that the Seasoned and Kiln-dried firewood produced by Logalog is of the highest quality.HETAS are the official body recognised by Government to approve biomass and solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services including the registration of competent installers and servicing businesses. HETAS run the industry leading biomass fuel quality scheme covering logs, wood chip, pellets and briquettes. The scheme enables the public to easily identify quality wood fuel suppliers, increasing customer confidence that there is a reliable supply chain for a safe fuel that will burn efficiently with their appliance.
