We are a traditional knitting and craft shop run by crafters for crafters, with friendly helpful staff who can advise customers on their knitting and stitching as well as their beading and mending! The shop was started in 1989 by Shelagh, who still lists handicrafts as her major hobby. We run a highly successful Knit and Knatter group on a Saturday as well as a Bead and Banter group on a Tuesday afternoon, both meet, courtesy of Jo and Helen, in the Kings Head pub, opposite our shop. If you are interested in embroidery you can come to either meeting. We all help each other to tackle all sorts of projects and love teaching learners. Please ring for dates and times.Th Knit and Knatter group have won the Christmas Tree competition for two years running and have an entry for the Scarecrow Festival sitting outside the Kings Head during July.
