Hand made alpaca products available online
Everything in our shop has been designed and created 'in-house' using only 100% pure alpaca fibre, mostly from our own alpacas, but occasionally from fleece obtained from local farmers. Alpaca fibre is softer than cashmere, as strong as silk, warmer and lighter than wool, is hypoallergenic and is not an irritant to the skin, so is perfect for very young/premature babies or those allergic to wool. It can be spun into fine yarns for knitting or crocheting or felted into tableware, mats and even jewellery. It is flame resistant, water resistant and highly insulated. The fleece is washed, carded and spun either by hand or at a mini-mill. Then hand, machine-knitted or crocheted into the finished article Items are packed carefully and come with full washing instructions. We are busy making stock, and add new alpaca items to the shop as soon as they become available.
