Things aren't always brilliant at work. There can be painful memories from the past or worries about the future. It could be bereavement, depression, drug or alcohol abuse, or simply overwork - but suddenly, it's not so easy to cope.Part of being a qualified and professional counsellor means I had therapy as part of my training and will be in and out of therapy for the rest of my career when I feel it necessary. This is how I know how difficult it can be to take that first step and how hard it can be to continue.
