Fire Damage
Dry ice blasting is a particularly effective method of removing the damage caused by fire and smoke. When a fire has seemingly destroyed a building - if the structure or part of the structure is deemed to be safe - using dry ice to clean away the unsightly soot can restore a building to a usable state - ready for redecoration as necessary. The fact that dry ice blasting will not only remove the soot contaminant but also remove the associate smell is particularly useful - as is the fact that dry ice blasting does not produce any additional by-product waste to be disposed of - such as with other methods using sand or water. What's more - dry ice blasting is very quick - real progress can be made in a matter of hours. The example here illustrates how Arctic Fox Dry Ice Cleaning used dry ice blasting to restore a business unit made of a steel frame and blockwork. The work illustrates here was completed in just one day. As is often the case with fire damage - this work was done through insurance - and Arctic Fox Dry Ice Cleaning is happy to work with Loss Adjusters or Main Contractors.
