Brilliant Puppetry
Chris Somerville of The Harlequin Puppet Theatre is one of the leading marionette manipulators and presents brilliant puppetry. The string puppet, or marionette, is the most difficult of the puppet family to control, and Chris is a master of the craft and has tutored many of today's puppeteers. He has performed all over the world, in theatres and cabarets and on luxury cruise ships, with the famous Harlequin Puppet Cabaret. Chris appears regularly at his own theatre, The Harlequin at Rhos-on-Sea in North Wales, and occasionally in night clubs and at corporate events. You can watch a short video at http://www.puppets.uk.com/videotheatre/videotheatrecabaretexcerpts.htm which shows excerpts from the Harlequin Puppet Cabaret.
